I know this picture has nothing to do with "faith"...but they sure are cute.
Here we are at the Houston, Women of Faith Conference. It was a blessing to get to go. Amanda and Willow, I love you girls.
So, I know you are scratching your head. This picture is wrong on so many levels. There were soooooo many women at this conference that all the men's rooms were turned into "Women's" restrooms. Love it!
The typical face shot.
The girls again.
I bet you are are wondering what I learned while I was there. Here is goes in a nut shell. WE all have gifts. Some we are aware of, and some we have yet to discover. I don't think I ever thought about "my gift" ( of Art, Worship, friendship, ect)as something that I actually GIVE away, completely give away. Think about this when we give a birthday gift to someone we don't say well you can keep 50% of it- we give it all to them, and we don't ask for it back. We gave it away. I struggle with confidence over my gifts, like I'm not good enough, doubt, ect. LIES! When the Lord gives us gifts he knows that we are going to give them away. For example, Worship, we give it away, we bless others, we lead others into worship...and then we give it away again and again and again. Friendship, we give that gift away daily because we are called to love, and its a free gift from our Father. Don't hold back your gifts, they are meant for the blessings of others. much love.

"Fall" in love with the Lamberts
Hey Friends and family, it has been a while, I know. We are here, just very busy with life. As I think about all our blessings I stop and think about the biggest blessings in our lives...Jesus Christ. Its hard to sum up what He has done in our lives, because everyday is a blessing in itself. We wish you all a very blessed Thanksgiving Holiday. LOve to ALL.

Fun, family, flowers and pumpkins
Well friends. Its that time of year...my favorite time of year. We had so much fun yesterday, which proves this is my favorite time of year.
We loaded the car and headed to Marble Falls, Sweetberry Farms. Oh friends, you must go. My favorite part was watching Adler run around, and then paying $1.00 to pick a cup full of flowers. Which by the way look lovely on my counter and entryway.

UT really means Unreasonable Temperatures!
Going to a University of Texas Football game has been a dream of mine for forever! Zach and I had the chance to go today. So we got a sitter and went on our way. We got there and it was horribly hot. Kinda how I imagine hell, no breeze and no relief. We did manage to snap a cute picture before we decide to leave at 2nd quarter. Yes 2nd quarter. I will someday complete an entire game...but not in September and not a 2 pm game. That's a promise.

Here we go, again...
Yep, its been too long since a "real post". You know the kind of post that has funny stories and pictures to go along with them. I'm going to make it quick, lots to share...
1.This is after I almost got ran over by 15 8th grade boys who were ready to win a game. I spent all day making this run through banner for the 8th grade A team's first game. I wanted a picture of it so I had the girls take the banner out, lay it out, and little did I know that the team was having its Pep talk and had gathered behind the banner. I asked the girls to hold it up and RIP...there went my sign. NO picture, and almost no cheer coach. I screamed this scream that the players the next day were laughing at. To be honest, they laughed at me, but I laughed at them...it was taped on the back of the banner...which they did not break. I think that's funny! Notice its wrinkled...but not torn!
2. This is my life after school till about December. Love these girls.
3. Sissy (Adler's Great Grandma) We love her!
4.This is MY room. A real ART room. You have no idea how crazy un organized it is with out a room meant to be an art room. Yes I survived last year, but its Heaven now! I'm sad my bud Willow is gone, but oh its nice. The kids really like it too. This is on the 1st day. Notice how clean...wont be that way long.
5. This was on one of the last days of summer. We took Adler to the pool. He loves to splish splash!
6. Finger painting with Mommy. One word. MESSY!

Anne Geddes who?
There was a time when Anne Geddes was a "BIG DEAL"... you saw her work everywhere, and when you thought you had seen every cute baby in some cute costume, she would surprise you again. Oh! But not this time...I believe that I have taken on of the cutest pictures of our little man ever. Eat your heart out Mrs. Geddes.

Red, White and you know who...
Its Adler in his Red, White and Blue.
Dear friends, we hope to share our 4th festivities with you via pictures. Enjoy.
We have started a new family tradition....watching the Round Rock Parade with our friends right on Main Street. Oh how sweet it is.
My best friends...oh how sweet they are.
Prince Charming and his son.
What kind of 4th would it be if I didn't let him have a sticky, blue sucker and let it run down his entire body.
I hope you are reflecting on your "sweet" 4th as well. Blessings to you all. XOXO.

Getting paid to stay home...
I cannot believe it people. My first year of teaching is over, and today I got paid to play with Adler. Yes that's right, getting paid to play. This past year was so amazing. Getting to teach what I love is such a blessing. I am also so very blessed to be teaching with such wonderful Christians. It has truly made this year alot easier.
